RETURNS
If goods are delivered damaged, please advise within 48 hours of delivery.
By law, customers have the right to withdraw from the purchase of an item within 14 days of the day after the date the item is delivered. This only applies to unopened items in their original, sealed packaging.
Customers must return unwanted goods at their own cost using a ‘signed for’ carrier service, or return in person to our store. Upon inspection the sale will be credited less any initial carriage charge.
Please note that returning some items may incur a handling charge depending upon the manufacturer’s terms. This may be as much as 50% of the original invoiced amount from some manufacturers. Please carefully check and confirm all specifications before ordering. If unsure ask a member of staff before placing your order. No item can be returned without an authorised returns number.
Please ensure goods are returned with original paperwork and also enclose a contact phone number should we need to contact you regarding the refund. You may return the items to our trade counter or return them via a carrier / post office. It is the responsibility of the customer to meet the postal charges on these returns.
FAULTY GOODS
Please notify us if you have a faulty product. We can arrange collection of these goods or refund your postal costs if you return them to us. We can then arrange for a replacement to be sent out depending on manufacturer warranties.
WARRANTIES
Town Electrical stock and supply goods that are from reputable sources, should you have a problem with an item please refer to manufacturers warranty procedures. It is the responsibility of the customer to fill in extended warranty forms enclosed with goods or online and these warranty claims should be dealt with directly by the manufacturer.
